With Valentine's Day just around the corner the time is right for us to get together at the Candlelight Inn for another night of great food and music! Sunday, February 21st is the date and, as with past Candlelight events, we invite you to arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. so we can order, enjoy our meals, then sit back and enjoy the concert.
Since February is Valentine's month, there will no doubt be an emphasis on some of the great love songs of the past and present. I will be looking forward to seeing you all on February 21st! I hope you'll join us!

First Chapter Now Available
If you know me at all you know I have an intense interest in the history of World War II. One of my dreams is to write a book about the men I knew as I grew up in Walnut, Illinois -- the men who shaped my life -- and the war that shaped their lives. The first step in that process is done, the first chapter completed. It was perhaps the most difficult yet most important chapter for me to write for it is the story of my father and his journey from "cornfields to the battlefields" and back.
